Guests enjoy a private bedroom and bathroom within my home. While visiting, guests have access to the breakfast room, den, kitchen, and sunporch. The yard outside is large and frequented by deer who like the many trees in the neighborhood, as well as the river a short distance from the house. Though this is a university town, my neighborhood is quiet with older homes and a blend of seniors, children, young couples, and families. The area is wonderful for those who enjoy biking and walking. Public transportation is nearby and downtown and the University are not far and are easy to access. I share the home with another family member, a small dog, and a cat.

The house is part of a well established subdivision and within 4 miles of the University, downtown, and hospitals.
Those who fly into Atlanta Hartsfield Airport are able to commute to Athens via shuttle service, ride share, or car rental.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Payment:
A non refundable deposit of 25% of the booking total is expected upon booking and should be sent via bank transfer.
50% of the booking total should be sent via bank transfer at least 3 days prior to the visit.
The remaining 25% of the booking total will be paid upon arrival.

Guest Responsibilities:
Guests are expected to clean up after themselves and to maintain the cleanliness of their bedroom and bathroom during their stay.
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and kitchen utensils to prepare their own meals and are expected to clean up after themselves. Guests are expected to eat only in the breakfast room or on the sunporch.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the den, breakfast room, and sunporch but are expected to clean up after themselves.
Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer but must provide their own laundry cleaning supplies. Guests are expected to remove items from the washer and dryer promptly.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
