Our family lives in a modest 3 bedroom home in a culturally diverse suburb of Los Angeles. We are 20 miles from downtown and 8 miles from the nearest beach. We have wonderful community and friendly neighbors. We enjoy cultural, arts, and outdoor activities.

About the Area
Our house is located in the most culturally diverse city of its size (1.6 sq mi) in the United States. We are a suburb of both Los Angeles and Long Beach, California. We are 4 blocks walking distance from the downtown area which hosts a section known as "Little India." We are near bus stops and only a few miles from a Metro station. We have a lovely library, movie theater, shopping mall, and restaurants less than a mile from our home at the Cerritos Towne Center. We live 1.5 miles from the East West Ice Palace.
We live on a quiet residential street with friendly neighbors.

Veronica was very welcoming, she showed me how to get around and made me feel at home. Room was lovely and bed very comfortable. I will definitely be staying again on my next visit to los Angeles

Veronica, her son, and two kitties were a pleasure to be around. I greatly enjoyed their hospitality and flexibility in making my trip so enjoyable. I also appreciate the conversations that we were having and Veronica was such a sweetheart in offering to support my work in the future. I learned a bit more about Artesia, and her location is also a great walking distance to many great shops and communities. Highly recommend and would come back again!

Veronica and her son Henry make for a wonderfully beautiful family to stay with during my contract in L.A. They are kind and very accommodating to anything I needed during my time at her home. Veronica responded quickly to any questions prior to my trip. I highly recommend her listing for anyone looking to stay in a quaint little community in a perfectly suited home!

This was my first homestay and am glad i took the leap and booked. Veronica and her son are just awesome. They are friendly, very helpful, welcoming, easygoing, i cant even say enough about them. She welcomed me with homemade cookies and a glass of milk(loved it), showed me the house, told me about the city and gave me ideas of where i could get everything. She practically inquired if i needed anything else everyday before we went to bed. The room is huge, clean, has comfortable queen bed and lots of storage. And if you love books, she has a lot of them that you can borrow. This was truly a home-stay for me and i would definitely stay there again.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
