We live in a very peaceful Mews in Plymouth City. Just 5 mins by bus to the city centre or 30 mins walking. We also have the benefit of a local train station which takes 2 mins to get to Plymouth Central but also heads out to Cornwall. We love to walk the dog, go to restaurants and enjoy living on the coast. We take pride in our cooking which is always recognised by our guests as being of a high standard (Nikki had chef training and Terry just loves food!).
The guest bathroom is shared with all three of the guest rooms. We also have a cloakroom. The family have their own bathrooms.

There is parking directly outside the house.
We have good access to local restaurants, public houses and takeaways (within 5 mins walk).

Nikki and her family embrace you in their lives without reserve. Not only do you feel welcome but feel as if you are staying with some long-time friends. Although its a busy hose with lots going on it never feels as if you are in the way as they are inclusive and generous with their time and energy. Thanks for a great stay guys - wishing you all the best for 2018!

We had a lovely stay at Nikki's! Very warm welcome in this Devonish version of "L'auberge Espagnole": very lively children and loving family. We had the chance to share several meals and evenings with them and we absolutely loved it. Terry, Nikki and the boys have been wonderful hosts and full of advice on what to do and where to go! We'd go back there anytime! (yet the room was quite small but it didn't really matter to us as we only used it to sleep as we were there to spend some time with the family and touring around...)

This was our first homestay experience and we were looking for a place where we and our two girls could socialise and improve our English. We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks during our summer vacation and we had a great time with Nikki, Terry, the two boys and Storm, the kid friendly dog. They made us feel very welcome and at the end of our stay we felt as part of the family. We cooked together and spend the evenings talking or playing games together. We also could have our own time on their sofa if we would liked to. Nikki and Terry were very helpful in giving us ideas for trips in Devon or Cornwall or good places to visit in Plymouth.
The breakfast was also very good with many choices of food and beverages. As others mentioned the rooms are quite small, but as we spend most of the time in the big living room or doing trips this was not a problem for us.
We would absolutely choose Nikki and Terry again for our next stay in Plymouth!June 2016

This was the first Homestay we've had so we can't put it into context with any others.
Our double room was basic and small but comfortable. The bathroom was shared with two other rooms. Nikki and her husband were lovely people and made us very welcome. It was very quiet at night but too noisy (for us) as we shared breakfast with the family and their two young boys.
The house felt a work-in-progress at present as parts seem under conversion for accommodation guests. Parking is in a narrow laneway outside.
Other, younger guests seemed quite happy with the place.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
