We are a married couple with our two teenage children, aged 20 and 17 years.
We both work in education and enjoy travelling. Our house is in a beautiful Devon village with a train station serving the London water loo line. We enjoy spending time at the beach and in the countryside.

About the Area
Our village has a very good train service to Exeter and Honiton which takes 15 minutes. You can also take the London Waterloo train from Whimple.
We also have a bus service to the local towns and villages. Exeter Airport is a 15 minute drive from our house.
The village of Whimple has a church. a local general store. tea room, post office and a hair dressers. Our two local pubs serve good food and local Ales and Cider. A beautiful Devon village surrounded by fields and farm land.

House Rules
Check in after 5pm and check out by 8.15 am weekdays
The room needs to be vacated from 8.15 am to 5pm week days.
We can be more flexible with check in and out at weekends.
Respectful to everyone in the house and keep rooms clean and tidy.
Full payment is due 14 days before stay by PayPal or bank transfer
Cancellation after payment in full has been made, will incur a refund less 50% only.
Smoking Rules

Amazing family! Really welcome and lovely, kind and nice! Good place to stay, quite, tidy, close to the bar if someone likes to party :))) and really close walk to railway !
Bed is comfy and hard to wake up in the morning, but had to...breakfast is waiting...don't wanna miss that ;)

Amazing and wonderful experience! Very welcoming family who make sure you are comfortable but also give you ad much privacy as you'd like. Home is a 15 minute train to Exeter with trains running frequently during peak hours and no more than every two hours off-peak. I had to cut my trip short for other reasons but would very happily stay here again. Incredibly positive experience!!!
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
