Hello,
I am a part-time professional living in Croydon, South London. My home is near Shirley, Beckenham and Bromley.
I love meeting people from all over the world, and I enjoy eating out and eating a wide range of foods, from vegan and vegetarian to other interesting foods (if you prefer meat or fish dishes).
I am passionate about "the arts" (music, theatre, art, film etc.,) and am very interested in learning about world cultures. I can help you with where to go and what to do and can offer conversational English if you are here to improve your knowledge and speaking skills.
I live on a quiet residential street in a semi-detached house with a garden. Your accommodation consists of either a cosy double room or an equally cosy single bedroom, sharing both a bathroom and separate shower room and a comfortable lounge and dining area.
The nearest station to my home is approximately 10 mins walk. Alternatively main stations are 30 mins drive (public transport) or 15-20 mins by car to either East Croydon or Bromley South. There is an excellent number of regular buses including night buses to and from these stations and central London, so travelling around is easy.

About the Area
The house is located on the South-west side of a residential street. The nearest bus stop is 2-3 minutes from the house. We live about 15 mins by car and 30 mins by bus to the nearest major stations into central London. There is a regional and local train and station that also goes into central London. The area is green and leafy. There are lots of parks and green areas to explore for example a local park with a large pond is approximately 5 mins walk from the house. There is a row of shops at the end of the street that offers a number of services, from dry cleaners and take-a-away restaurants to DIY facilities. There is a high street with even more facilities that is just over 5 mins walk from the house.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
