Welcome to my home in the green mountain area of Gran Canaria, the lovely village La Atalaya which is translated into "the viewing point". I rent out two double bedrooms, one minimalistic down-to-earth room with a double futon mattress, the other a crystallized room with a regular double bed. Both room has a wardrobe/closet and windows where bright light comes in. I also rent out a shared chummy dorm with three bunk beds where six persons can sleep. On the rooftop terrace I have one single bed set up for sleeping under the stars.
There's a lot of sitting possibilities and lounge areas, and you can spend time on the rooftop watching the breathtaking green scenery, bring out your creativity in the art studio, relax in front of the fireplace, cook in the kitchen or in the outdoor BBQ area gazing the stars from the patio surrounded by banana trees. When you enter this place you are completely free and welcome to "just exist" as life is all about.
I'm a genuine, open-minded and friendly free spirit who loves to bring out the best from everyone I meet. I'm born and raised in Sweden and have lived on Gran Canaria for four months. I'm very easygoing and calm and will do everything to make you comfortable. I lovingly spend time with all my guests. I find mostly everything interesting and see everyone as a friend, even though I might don't know your story yet. If you're interested to learn about astrology, numerology, consciousness, meditation and a holistic lifestyle, I gladly share some inspiration. Let us bloom!

About the Area
This place is located 20 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the capital Las Palmas by car and there are many parking lots near the property. If you are using public transportation the bus routes 311 and 24 both stops at La Atalaya at the bottom of my road, only a two minute walk away. 311 can be taken from Las Palmas San Telmo, alternatively you can take the bus 24 from Telde.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Smoking is prohibited on the property but permitted on the street. The house is completely meat free. Alcohol is ok but not in excessive amounts.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
