Room for rent on the upper floor of a Duplex home, completely independent as it has a bathroom with shower and access to an outdoor terrace from the room itself. On the lower floor are the common areas (kitchen) and the owners' rooms.
The house is located in an urbanization with a swimming pool that tenants can access. We are in a very quiet area, relaxed atmosphere and at the same time surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets and nearby shops.
We have the university 10 minutes walk away. We also have buses and tram very close to get to the city center of Alicante or the beaches. All this in about 20 minutes.
In the house we live with a 47-year-old couple with a 13-year-old son. We also have a small and friendly Bichon Maltese breed dog. However, guests are left independent in the upper area of the house.
We are health professionals, very calm people, relaxed atmosphere in the home,
We do not include breakfast or meals, but access to the kitchen is allowed.

There is no better way to learn a foreign language practice in everyday situations. Your host family offers classes in their native language
Spanish. One hour of class costs 6.00 euros. The class will be given by the host at the accommodation.

About the Area
Our house is located in the University of Alicante district, very quiet but with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pubs and shops of all kinds. It is very well connected to the center of Alicante, tourist sites and beaches, which you can access in 20 minutes by bus or tram. It is a safe district with a relaxed atmosphere.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
