I am a Taiwanese-American attorney and a Chinese medical acupressure healer. I am seeking a conscientious, conscious, mindful, minimalist, clean, affable, non-smoking roommate for this off-grid, minimalist house in a rural, quiet area of Portugal.
Currently, I am working on getting municipal water. Therefore, there is not yet running water on the property. The bathroom is a dry toilet and showering is very primitive.
I am able to provide homemade, organic, sustainably sourced meals if requested for additional costs.
The nearest neighbor has roosters and the church that is about five miles away has a bell.

About the Area
The house is located in a rural area of Alcobaça parish, near Silval and Vimeira, Turquel. The neighbors have lots of animals including but not limited to sheep, dogs, chickens and roosters.
A car is essential as we are in Silval, which is a rural town. We are about 20 minutes from Sao Martinho do Porto and 30 minutes from Nazaré.

Meals

House Rules
Quiet hours between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Must take shoes from outside off inside the caravan. We are a holistic health professional and a bio-scientist, so, we require that housemates wear no synthetic fragrances and limit the use of products containing synthetic fragrances. We are fine with products scented with natural products such as lavender, geranium, tea tree, etc. Must keep common areas clean. No smoking or vaping.

Eva is a really nice host and she can also cook very delicious. The room was very clean and she has only non toxics materials. The house is in a nice area, there isn't much traffic and the nature is two minutes away from the house.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
