We couldn't recommend this homestay more. Tino was so helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. He wen't above and beyond to make us comfortable and help advise our travels. The atmosphere at the house is great and overall its a very comfortable and charming place to live. It's located just outside of the hectic town center but is close enough to access everything you need by foot or bike. When we come back to Oaxaca we would absolutely stay here again.

We (family of 4) really enjoyed our stay with Tino in Oaxaca! Excellent location, 20 minute walk to the center with lots of local stores to walk to, including grocery and a local children's library. There is also a city bus stop nearby with the bus coming approximately every half hour. They have great suggestions of where to visit around Oaxaca. The house was spacious and had a nice outdoor and indoor spaces. They were generous with sharing their space, including the kitchen and delicious coffee. True to a homestay, you have to adjust to things that are different, like irregular water pressure/temperature of water, but Tino was always responsive and available when we had a question. A few things were different than the post indicated, including breakfast on our own, who was living there (it was just Tino and his partner in addition to any guests) and the larger room was just 2 beds (no 3rd bed). There was reliable wi-Fi available for use. We shared the cost of drinking water with Tino. Overall, we highly enjoyed our time and would return.

Tino was a wonderful host! We really enjoyed staying at his place. He and his daughters were very warm and welcoming. He was very responsive when we needed towels and asked about hot water. He also provided helpful suggestions for what to do during out stay. Our only regret is not being able to spend more time getting to know them as we spent a lot of the day outside of the house. Would definitely stay with Tino again!

For me a homestay is always a perfect way to start into a new unknown city. Tino and his family are so welcoming and open that I really feel sorry that we haven‘t had more time to talk and stay with them. The great hustle between trying to see as much as possible in Oaxaca and spending time to get Tino & family better to know. Thank you for everything ( great breakfasts / good stories / insights into your life and the culture ) and especially for the last minute shopping of the balloons for our daughter’s Christmas gift. Outstanding service . All the best from Thora,Silje,Lone and Sven

I feel 《At home》 with Constantino and Aneira. They already introduced me to their friends. My room is quiet and comfortable and well ventilated. I have nice warm blankets for cold nights....and the mountain air is pure and fresh, here in Santa Lucia del Camino (Oaxaca). I am happy to stay an EXTRA MONTH !!!!
