We are young couples whose desires is to empower young people to be self reliant by training them the importance of agribusiness and entrepreneurship and this has driven our passion to start a youth group called Kokech rural self reliance initiative youth group( KRUSIP)
Kokech Rural Self-Reliance Initiative Project is a non-profit-organization located in Oyugis, Homa-Bay County in Nyanza Province in Kenya.
It is registered under ministry of gender, sports, cultural and social services. The certificate number is SRD|YG|148|2013.
We are a young, small organization and our growth is strategic and carefully planned. We expand our effort by developing networking, training groups of farmers to work independently within their communities. We want to promote the utilization of natural resources they depend on by advancing the practice of sustainable Agriculture.
Vision:
A situation where small scale farmers are recognized in the community with their innovation as well as their strength which is fully utilized for their own's and the society's good. Hence the community moves towards a sustainable development.

Rural communities in which organic farming is recognized as an environmentally friendly, economically viable and socially approach to sustainable food production.

we provide the the following!
Accommodation and the guests will share a home with my family.You will receive a private bedroom with a bed and a mosquito net, light and desk.
so when u come for the visit these are the instruction,from Nairobi jomo Kenyatta international air port-take a flight to kisumu international air port, then from there you will finds us waiting to pick u at the air port to home,we will used a car hired from the airport to the project site!!!
Volunteers will be able to interact and share with the community around and some how visit any site seeing at balla,simbi nyaima and lambwe game park and Masai Mara park, touring along the lake Victoria shores,
the available transport in our area are motorbikes, taxi or private care and public transport. We are just 5 minutes walk to the town, where we have the supermarkets etc.
We well come all the guest who would love to come and stay with us!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
