About the Homestay
* Please note that due to the Pandemic and our Government advice we are only accepting people from Ireland at the moment.
Myself, my husband and our pet dog live in a cosy family home with a warm atmosphere.
We have two rooms to offer: a large double room in our converted attic, and a lovely single room also.
My husband is a taxi driver, so we can provide taxi services to our guests when needed.
We are based in Swords, which is a wonderful village with all the amenities you could wish for!
Visitors are spoiled for choice of restaurants (any kind of cuisine you like is available), bars, and entertainment.
Pavillions Shopping Centre is just a 15-minute walk or quick bus journey away, from our home. Pavillions offers eateries, plenty of retail options, and a cinema too.
We are a 10-minute drive away from Dublin Airport.
Dublin City Centre is 40 minutes away by bus, or 30 minutes driving. The bus stop is just around the corner from our house.
Swords Castle is close by, it's a great attraction to visit!
Swords is close to the coast, and to Malahide and Portmarnock. There are delightful beaches to visit, and plenty more options for food lovers and watering holes for a few drinks.
Guests are welcome to use our kitchen to prepare meals for themselves.
We're looking forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our home!

This guest awarded the host 5 hearts but didn’t leave any comments.
Bernadette is a wonderful woman! He has a beautiful family, a lot of respect and always available to lend a hand. A lodging to recommend! :)
Very Nice stay. Kind and warm family I highly recommend Bermadette’s house
Bernadette is a very easy going lady and she's very kind, polite and warm welcoming.
It has been my pleasure chatting with her.
Bernadette has a beautiful house that is very clean and tidy and very well taken care of; I love all the furniture. The bathroom is perfect and the big room I've slept in was warm and comfortable.
If I'll ever go to Dublin again, I really hope I can be hosted at her lovely place again.
Thank you Bernadette! <3

Lovely friendly helpful host.
We had a fantastic time in Swords, staying with Bernadette and Eamon. The attic room has tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, t.v....everything you need to make your stay nice and homely. They made us feel so welcome and accommodating. Swords is a stunning village, close to the airport and Dublin town. The buses run every 20 minutes! If you are going to an event in Dublin or surrounding village as we did, Bernadette´s place is perfect. She´s a really lovely lady and when we visit Dublin again...and we will, we´d definitely stay at Bernadette´s!
I really enjoyed my stay with Bernadette and Eamon. They were friendly and helpful in every possible way and the whole family was really nice!
The house was always clean and quite and it was so nice to be able to use her perfect kitchen.
There were no problems at all as I was always able to talk to Bernadette about any issue. I really appreciate this time in her place. It was a great beginning for my life in Dublin!
Thank you for everything xxx
