Myself and my daughter have been living in Donabate for many years. The house is modern, fun and busy. We have a beautiful back garden, love music and chilling out. The beaches are walking distance and we have an amazing park on our doorstep. The estate is quiet and located 3 min from train station and Donabate village. About the Area
Our home is situated in a quiet estate in the center of village. Its 3 min to train station. There is a bus that connects to other routes via swords. Beaches are a 20 min brisk walk from doorstep and park also super close about 10 min walk. There is a local supermarket called supervalu chain but also bus to next town with pavillon shopping center,and alot of amenties there. Malahide is 1 stop away via train and dublin city center is easily accessible via train at just 30 min. There is a beautiful route via dart from malahide all along the north east coast to Bray and Dun Laoighaire.

No smoking inside home. Friends vistors allowed but cannot stay overnight.
50% of payment required on booking and balance required prior to arrival.
Room must be kept tidy and is cleaned once per week. Bed linen provided and towels. Your responsible for your own laundry. Facilities available to wash your items.
Kitchen area must be kept tidy and all utensils used put away after use.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic homestay for 3 months and I could not have asked for a better experience, all thanks to the exceptional host, Clodagh and her daughter who made my stay truly unforgettable. They greeted me with a genuine smile and a warm welcome, making me feel right at home from the beginning. Also, they were always willing to provide helpful tips about Donabate and Ireland in general. The room I stayed in was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a good night's rest. I highly recommend staying here if you desire a warm, peaceful, and happy place.

Efy stayed with our family for 3 months and she was a pleasure to host. She was extremely tidy and kept her room all in order. She was kind and very chatty and we enjoyed many hours of getting to know each other over her stay. We will stay in contact for the future and welcome her back anytime.

Clodagh is a fantastic host, and the room is very comfortable. The house is located near the train station to Malahide and Dublin and the bus stop to Sword. Very recommended!

Clodagh welcomed me with open arms and made me feel at home. I would definitely contact her again for my next trips to Ireland. The house is located right next to the train station, which is very helpful. Clodagh made my stay in Dublin even more enjoyable and I am very grateful to her.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
