Wir sind ein Ehepaar in Rente. Weil die Kinder aus dem Haus sind, haben wir mehr Zimmer als wir brauchen.
Wilhelmsfeld ist eine Gemeinde 8km von der Heidelberger Stadtgrenze. Es ist sehr einfach, nach Heidelberg zu fahren, und man hat trotzdem die Ruhe
und die Natur. Im Wald kann man wandern, und Radfahrer lieben die
Waldwege ins Neckartal oder im Odenwald.

About the Area
Our house is located on the higher part of Wilhelmsfeld. It is a completely quiet and safe area. The bus stop is 10 minutes away, but you have to go a quite steep street. You can reach our house very easily by car. The bus no. 34 reaches Heidelberg center in 25 minutes, the train station is reached in 35 minutes by the same bus.

This was a fantastic homestay! Brigitte and her husband are wonderfully kind, gracious hosts. The house is lovely and the neighborhood is quiet. The forest is just a short stretch away, and there are lots of paths criss-crossing through it that are great to run on. It worked quite well for me to take the bus each day into Heidelberg for my German language class; the commute is not too long, and at certain points it is very picturesque. I had everything I needed and more in this homestay, thanks to the diligent care and constant kindness of the hosts. It could not have been more perfect. Very highly recommend!

Der Aufenthalt bei Brigitte in Wilhelmsfeld statt direkt nach Heidelberg in eine Pension oder Hotel zu fahren war goldrichtig. Über unsere netten Gastgeber Brigitte und Ihren Mann bekamen wir zu unseren Exkursionen gute Tipps mit denen wir Zeit und Lehrgeld sparten. Durch Ihre Empfehlung besuchten wir den romantischen Schwetzinger Schlosspark, Bad Wimpfen mit den "Blauen Turm" am Neckar und herrlichen Fachwerk-Altstadt sowie Ladenburg mit Besuch im historischen Museum. Man darf die Küche und den Garten benutzen. Die Hanglage des Ortsteiles störte uns kaum. Viele Wanderwege führen hier in die Berge und Wälder. Heidelberg ist in 25 Minuten mit den Bus oder Auto zu erreichen. Wesentlich ist noch zu erwähnen, man kommt bei Brigitte als Fremder und geht als Freund.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
