BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED
My name is Vanessa, I have 3 Doubles rooms fully furnished with WIFI. Durind the year, I host students who want to study in Bordeaux. During holidays, I host holidaymakers ;)
Here the atmosphere is friendly and calm. My home is conveniently located near a tramway stop. It is the ideal place to visit the area: the city of Bordeaux but also the beaches, the vineyards...
I work a lot so I am not often at home. Sorry! But if it is true that on one hand, we may not have the time to discuss a lot, on the other hand you would enjoy a peaceful retreat without the owner around :)
I work as a piano teacher in the house. Breakfast is not included but kitchen is in free access, and you have a private space in the fridge to store your food. The rest of your food has To be kept in your room. The kitchen is too small to eat in it, you can cook in the kitchen and eat in your room if you do not want to go the the restaurants surroundings.
The use of washing machine is 10€ additional per week.

We had a lovely stay with Vanessa, the house is clean and spacious as is the large double room. Location is great and the hostess was very friendly and helpful.

Once it was clearly established that this was not a true homestay but rather a paid room with a light (very light) breakfast included, and no possibility of a "table d'hôte", the scene was set for a pleasant stay. Vanessa was kind and helpful; the room was large and well equipped, and because of an excellent public transport system (trams and buses), it was easy to reach from the airport, and to get into the city and to the railway station. Overall good to very good, depending on your expectations (and perhaps your age).
