Hello, we are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 8 and 11. We have a pretty single-storey house in the town of Bouscat, Lafon Féline district, a 15-minute walk from the town center of Bouscat and close to Bordeaux, the city center of which can be reached in 20 minutes by bus. The room that we offer for rental has independent access to the front of the house. The room has its own bathroom and toilet and a 160 cm bed, a coffee machine and shared kitchen sharing at certain times. The house has a garden. We speak English fluently, love music and exhibitions and hiking especially in the Pyrenees.

About the Area
We are in Bouscat in direct proximity to the Golf of Bordeaux, Caudéran and Eysines. A 1 minute walk away you have 2 bus lines, 23 and 82, which take you to the center of Bordeaux in 20 minutes. The 33 also 1 minute away will take you to the airport in 35 minutes. We are an 8-minute walk from the Tram D Mairie du Bouscat which takes you to Les Quinconces in 20 minutes and 30 minutes to Bordeaux Saint-Jean station. There are a few local shops (restaurant, wine cellar, fishmonger, butcher-caterer, laundromat, hairdresser and beauty salon) and a supermarket all available within 3 minutes on foot and a Carrefour Market supermarket and a bakery 8 minutes away. min walk. A 20-minute walk away you have the Sainte Germaine station which will take you to Soulac or Pessac Beach. Finally, 15 minutes away on foot you have the immense Bordelais park for beautiful walks. The town of Bouscat has a lively town center with a very pleasant media library and one of the best bakeries in Bordeaux, a brasserie on the square and a very nice Italian restaurant with a pretty terrace.

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, here are some simple rules to follow:
Sharing Hours in the Kitchen:
The kitchen is the heart of our home and we are happy to welcome you there at the following times:
For a good start: [from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. or from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.]
For your lunch: [from noon to 2 p.m. possibly shared with us during these times]
For a gentle end to the day: [from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.]
Outside of these hours, don't hesitate to ask, we'll make arrangements!
Cooking and Cleaning:
Make yourself at home ! But don't forget to clean up after your visit. It’s more enjoyable for everyone!
We will give you space in the fridge to store your own food, but if you ever run out of ingredients, we may be able to help you out.
Bathroom :
Your adjoining bathroom is your little corner of peace. Take care of it like your own home!
For ecological and plumbing concerns, be careful not to throw anything into the toilets or sinks.
Calm :
Thank you for your respect for everyone's sleep and tranquility after 10 p.m., we adopt Zen mode!

When the time unfortunately comes to leave us, leave us a little of your good humor when you leave. Thank you for making the bedroom and bathroom as charming as you found them.
Payment and Reservation:
To guarantee your reservation, a payment of 30 euros is requested by transfer upon reservation. You can pay the remainder of your stay in cash upon arrival.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
