The self-restored historic house with medieval origins is located in the center of Fabrezan, an original and very lively wine town between Narbonne and Carcassonne, a good half hour from the Mediterranean Sea.
I live at the top of the house, in the middle area I rent as a unit: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 room with sofa bed that can serve as an office or another bedroom for one person, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The kitchen with dining room occupies its own floor and is available for shared use. It opens to the car-free church square, which serves me as a public terrace.
In the lower part of the house I rent as a unit: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 living room, 1 bathroom with toilet and 1 small kitchen corner.
I am happy to provide keyboard, external monitor, printer etc. Since I had several jobs as a freelance producer and editor, I am well equipped. Plug in the laptop and off you go.

About the Area
The house is located in the center of Fabrezan on the old fortress wall. The town has shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and the music scene is lively. The nearest train station is about 10 km away, the beach a good half hour drive.
The surroundings are simply beautiful: numerous riverbanks, the garrigue, hills and rocks, lots of wine, avenues, castle ruins, wineries ... Montpellier, Toulouse and Spain are each an hour's drive away, to the Pyrenees it takes only a little longer. You can tell: I like it here. I am happy to give tips for excursions of all kinds.

House Rules
It is a flexible house and just designed for it. The rooms can be redesigned according to the wishes: a larger working area or rather more room to relax ... During the restoration, the focus was on the fact that it should be an open, convertible house. And you also have the choice: you can have complete peace or participate in village life here.
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
