Great stay with Sahar and Akbar, highly recommended ! They have a lovely large flat in a quiet street not far from the river. We slept very well and Iranian breakfast was very good (we even had fruit !). We also had tea a few times and it was particularly good. Most of all, Akbar was very nice and very accomodating so that we had the best possible stay in Esfahan. He helped us a lot to plan our next trip (to buy bus tickets...) and it was really great to be able to discuss all kinds of topics with him, we learnt a lot about Iran. He also arranged for us to buy some home-made pomegranate sauce which is not so easy to find. Thanks a lot Akbar, we hope to stay in touch !

Only three hours after having landed in Tehran airport, we were already experiencing Iranian hospitality at its best ! We had a great stay with Sherko. He is very generous, we had dinner and lunch together and talked a lot about all kinds of things. Sherko also helped us a lot with our bookings for the next days and accompanied us to the bus stop ! Thanks again for everything Sherko, we could not have had a better introduction to Iran !

Highly recommended !! We stayed only 1 night at Benham's but it was really great. The house is nice and in a quiet area, we slept very well and meals prepared by Benham's mother were really good and different from what we had eaten until then. Benham was very helpful to organise our forthcoming days in Iran (early arrival, bus ticket booking, hotel booking...) and even pre-booked for us "just in case" a hotel night in Yazd because our planned hotel was not answering, and the booking turned out to be providential. Benham also took us to a fascinating tour of Persepolis (he was the guide !) and to zurkhaneh. Most of all, it was really great to chat with Benham on all sorts of topics, food, culture, daily life, etc. Thanks again for everything Benham, we hope to stay in touch and we will definitely give your name to our friends going to Iran !

Very nice stay (1 night) at Saeid's place. We had a nice chat, slept well and tea with spices was particularly good. The ride to Naqsh-e-Jahan was cheap and not very long (15 min).
