This was a terrible experience. The house is not clean. The host plays music at rock concert volume late into the night-- I had to go up at 11.30 pm and ask him to lower the volume. The guest room has no keys-- you leave it unlocked when you leave the house, and you sleep in an unlocked room at night, knowing there are other guests-- whoa re strangers, of course, around in the house too. Sure, no one troubled me, but is this safe? The host advertises the room as having a private bathroom-toilet, but on arrival, I found it was shared. he says, it is private when there are no other guests. Terrible place, Choose this homestay only if you don't mind a dirty place, noise, lack of privacy and a rude host. I guess some folks might find his eccentricities charming.

Nicola is a very friendly and pleasant host. She handed me her house keys like I was a trusted old member of the family, and asked me to help myself to anything I wanted from the fridge. I am not too fond of cats, so Nicola took care that they did not bother me. (Actually they were friendly cats-- it is just that I don't like cats). I would definitely recommend her homestay in Prague.

Josef and Lubica Czepiec were absolutely wonderful hosts. I will always treasure the time I spent with them. They took me out after dinner for an evening stroll by the Danube and made every effort to make my stay with them a complete pleasure. Lubica is truly friendly, and actually behaved like a dear, old friend, giving me food and water for the onward journey when I was finally leaving their place.
