Hi all the explorers,
My name is Dora, I was an international students for 5 years. Studying abroad is an exciting chance to mix with different cultures, different opinions, and different interesting people. I know that for your stay you will also want a safe, relaxed, cozy, quiet, place that feels like home.
I am going to provide you a house called The Appleton house. You will have all you have dreamed about:
• A newly renovated and well-maintained detached house that is located in a quiet, safe and friendly community
• Steps to public transit and short commute to universities, colleges, and major attractions
• Large, sun-filled, fully furnished rooms that all come with a built-in closet, and fit at least a double bed, a desk, a bedside table, and bookcase
• Award-winning chef as your host (yes, you are reading it right), who will provide you fantastic meal options. Start your morning with classic North American, English, or Chinese–style breakfast, and wrap up your day with a 3 course-meal dinner option. Missing your favorite dish from back home? Fear not. Just provide the recipe, and our professional chef can make it for you. ( Morning meal plan for a whole month is $150, Lunch meal plan for a whole month is $150, Dinner meal plan for a whole month is $300.)

Our rate is flexible and competitive, and can surely accommodate your needs, no matter if it’s a short term or long term stay.
My parents will be sharing the same house with the guests during their stays. They will keep the common area nice and clean. Me and my parents will cook the hotel standard meals for our guests.

Normas de la casa
1. NO smoking, NO vaping inside the bedroom and the house;
2. NO cooking inside the room;
3. Tenants must keep noise to minimum, No loud noise between 10pm- 6am on the weekday. No loud noise between 11pm-8am on the weekend;
4. No pets allowed inside the house;
5. Tenant must not keep any inflammable items in the room;
6. Tenant must not damage any furniture, pictures or wall hangings;
7. Tenant must not do anything that will make the Owner’s insurance invalid;
8. Tenant must report any loss of keys immediately to the Owner;
9. Tenant must take all their personal possessions when they leave the property;
10. Tenant must dump the common area garbage according to the schedule.

I stayed in Dora's house for more than 3 months and everything was great! From the beginning Dora was very nice, friendly and understanding. She showed me the neighbourhood and helped to begin my life in Toronto as a student (it was my first visit to Canada and Dora helped me a lot).
I loved the house, it was very clean, nice and comfortable, and my neighbours were great. I became friends with them and we stay in touch now. Also, the location is perfect - the house is situated in only a few minutes from different bus and street car stops (and it's also very easy to get to the subway from there), the area is beautiful and there are many parks and good stores nearby. When I come to Toronto next time, I'd be happy to stay here again! :)В доме у Доры я провела больше трех месяцев и могу сказать, что все было чудесно! С самого начала Дора очень помогала мне, была очень дружелюбной и понимающей. Она помогла мне обустроиться и сделала мое начало жизни в Канаде значительно легче.
Мне очень понравился сам дом, чистый, милый и уютный, и соседи были очень хорошими - я подружилась с ними и мы продолжаем поддерживать общение. Хочу отдельно отметить расположение дома, оно очень удобное - всего несколько минут до остановок и очень легко добираться до метро. Dora's homestay was nice, safe, cosy and clean. She and her mother were very friendly. I made frirnds with all the roomates. If I will go back to Toronto,I will definitely stay there.

It is a cozy house, location is great, near to ttc , stories and restaurants. Dora's mom cleans often. Dora is a nice hostes, attentive and willing to help. Although not all the girls who live there are friendly the environment is nice and respectful. I would like to stay there in the future.

¿Cómo se hace una reserva?
Ponte en contacto con el anfitrión para comprobar su disponibilidad y preguntar todo lo necesario sobre la estancia. Una vez que el anfitrión confirme que está disponible para esas fechas, podrás confirmar la reserva.
¿Cuándo se realiza el pago?
Una vez que el anfitrión confirma que está disponible, podrás pagar el% en concepto de comisión 15% (máximo de 250 $£€ para reservas de larga duración) y un depósito del 25% mediante: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB y PayPal. El depósito se cobra por adelantado en nombre del anfitrión para protegerse cuando el huésped no se presenta o cuando hay cancelaciones de última hora (dentro de los 7 días antes de la fecha de llegada). El resto de la cantidad, se le pagará al anfitrión en la fecha de llegada. El pago del 25% del depósito al anfitrión se realizará el segundo día hábil después de la fecha de llegada confirmada en la reserva. Este depósito sólo será reembolsado si se cancela la reserva al menos 7 días completos antes de la fecha de llegada.
¿Cuándo se publican los datos de contacto?
Las direcciones de email, los números de teléfono y la dirección postal del anfitrión y del huésped aparecerán reflejados en el email de confirmación que se les enviará a ambos inmediatamente después de la confirmación de la reserva. El intercambio de datos de contacto personales entre los anfitriones y los huéspedes a través de los mensajes que se envían a través de nuestra plataforma, va en contra de nuestra política.
