We are a young enterpreneurial Cuban family born and raised in Havana who have worked in the neighborhood best private restaurants and hostels ... We have decided to open up our humble home because we love to entertain and share our experience with travelers.
Located one floor up of an amazing 1940's colonial building, Amy's Artistic Home is a relaxing oasis for travelers. In the best location of Havana City, walking distance to the most important attractions, such as The Prado Promenade, Old Havana, The Malecon (Oceanfront) and Central Park. You will be able to experience the city like a local, and receive a friendly, warm welcome from our family. We love to spend time with our guests and show them the best that our city has to offer.

About the Area
This place is perfect for adventurers, couples, lonely traveler or friends who want to have privacy and space but also to explore our picturesque city and exchange with locals, learn from our traditions and culture. This is a Casa Particular that is allowed to receive American travelers under the category of Support to the Cuban People, we are a family business when everybody has a role and is committed to guest satisfaction. Amy (Mom) takes care of cleaning and makes amazing breakfasts, Anselmo (Dad) does the logistic, maintenance, and renovations and Sahid (the boy) just have fun, play videogames and enjoy Havana life.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
During your stay in our house you must not:
- Use it for any commercial purpose.
- Disturb the peace and quiet of others by having noisy parties or turning up the volume on the TV (during the hours from 9:00 PM-9:00AM).
1. Produce, traffic, acquire, keep, consume, hide or any other activities related to drugs or others substances of similar effects.
2. Practice any acts involving prostitution, procurement, pornography, corruption of minors, human trade, or any other similar act.
3. Practice any violation of the social norms that may encroach upon the moral customs of the citizens.
4. Smoke inside the bedroom.
If the host detects of any violation related to the first and second matters above the rental will be canceled immediately and the host will notify the authorities.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
