Casa Colonial Tati y José, Guest House located in Centro Habana Zone, offers 2 comfortable rooms for rent, equipped with all the amenities for its guests. It is a colonial construction from the mid 1800's with wooden beams and large stained glass windows, good location and offers visitors security, comfort, confidence and familiarity. The rooms have their own private bathroom, hot and cold water, split air conditioning, fan and mini bar. Each room has bath towels and hand towels, toilet paper and soap. This accommodation is close to places of cultural and historical interest. Centro Habana is one of the most populated municipalities of the Cuban capital. Many people come together because it is a very central place from where you can reach almost all other municipalities. Its people are very characteristic and warm, it is only 15 min. walking from the Historic Quarter of the city (old Havana). It has places of obligatory reference like the Paseo del Prado to 5 min, the House of the Music of Galeano to 3 min, the Capitol to 5 min and the emblematic Malecón Habanero to 3 min walking. Tatiana and José are very dedicated and simple people.

About the Area
Our house is located north of the city in a typical Havana neighborhood, quiet and safe, very close to shopping malls and most famous restaurants, (La Guarida, San Cristobal, Ect.).

1. We offer with pleasure all the information and assistance you need.
2. Smoking is not allowed either in the bathrooms or in the dining room and Rooms, but smoking in the patio and outside and rooms.
3. Upon arrival we will give you a brief guide regarding the proper use of the property facilities.
4. Taxi Payment must be made on arrival at the house
5. You can change leaving the airport to your right currency. The rate is similar at the government-run exchange store across the country.
6. Free cancellation: Before arriving in Cuba, it is possible to cancel or change through Homestay. However, after your arrival to the apartment, you can cancel, but we require payment of 50% of any cancellation date if we could not quickly find a new client. We appreciate your understanding as it is a modest family business, and the unexpected cancellation of booked dates will greatly affect to meet our daily living needs. Please formalize your cancellation as soon as possible as this will give us more possibilities to new reservations.
7. Upon arrival it is expected that registration and payment will be complete due to the fact that the government requires strict procedure regarding the information of the traveler and the payment of substantial taxes. Likewise if you wish you can not pay 50% before to get to Cuba.
8. Any loss of keys and locks of the building, apartment and room will require a fee of 20 CUC for any replacement, as they are expensive items to replace.
9. If you accidentally break an item from the house (a glass, a cup, bedding, furniture, etc.), any donation for repair and purchase is welcome.
10. You are responsible for the conduct of the person you brought home.
12. Please do not cause annoyance (noise, insults, etc.) with other guests and neighbors, and make sure the doors are close when you leave the house and building.
13. If you invite someone to sleep with you at home, you must register with your identification card (if national) or passport (if not national) with us, as it is mandatory specified by our government.
14. Please do not open the door to people you do not know.
15. At the end of your stay, please be sure to leave the keys to us and do not leave any belongings.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
