LA CASONA DE TOQUI is a magical place in front of the beautiful bay of Jagua, in the city of Cienfuegos, which welcomes you in a magnificent building reflecting the architecture of the 19th century, full of stories and legends, surrounded by the freshness of fruit trees from multiple native species, orchards, fields and a lake full of fish, in a protected environment where free doves and hummingbirds fly.
Cheerful and fresh rooms that lead to beautiful terraces provided with hammocks, have been prepared for the enjoyment of a rest in an environment full of life and positive energy, lulled by the song of the sea.
As part of the cultural project that is being developed here, you can visit its museum with the exceptional collection of necklaces, bracelets, arts and crafts of various civilizations and eras, enjoy a conference, concert or other artistic presentation in its auditorium, or discover unsuspected corners in its delicious gardens, which will make your stay in this place an unforgettable experience.
In our gardens and in the courtyard, you can enjoy the quiteness and tranquility offered by the natural environment created around our house, an oasis in the middle of the city bustle.
Our hostess, a very charismatic person and versed in the art and culture of Cuba and many other countries, personally offers you the history of this house opened in 1889 and that has passed through several distinguished owners and restoration processes.

- The lodging of more people than the capacity of the rented rooms is not allowed.
- All people staying must be registered in the Guest Book.
- Access to the property of young people under 16 years of age is not allowed.
- We allow events such as work meetings, cultural debates, theater performances; but not the celebration of parties, weddings or birthdays.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
