1. We offer with pleasure all the information and assistance you need.
2. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms or bathrooms. But you can smoke outside the rooms.
3. Upon arrival we will give you a brief guide regarding the proper use of the property facilities.
4. Taxi Payment must be made upon arrival at the house.
5. You can change leaving the airport to your right currency. The rate is similar at the government-run exchange store across the country.
6. Free Cancellation: Before arriving in Cuba, it is possible to cancel or change through Homestay. However, after your arrival to the apartment, you can cancel, but we require payment of 50% of any cancellation date if we were unable to quickly find a new client. We appreciate your understanding as it is a modest family business, and the unexpected cancellation of booked dates will greatly affect to meet our daily living needs. Please formalize your cancellation as soon as possible as this will give us more possibilities to new reservations.
7. Upon arrival it is expected that registration and payment will be complete due to the fact that the government requires strict procedure regarding traveler information and substantial tax payment. Similarly if you wish you can not pay 50% before arriving in Cuba.
8. Any loss of room keys will be required a fee of 20 CUC for any replacement, as they are expensive items to replace.
9. If you accidentally break an item from the house (a glass, a cup, bedding, furniture, etc.), any donation for repair and purchase is welcome.
10. You are responsible for the conduct of the person you brought home.
12. Please do not cause annoyance (noise, insults, etc.) with other guests and neighbors, and make sure the doors are close when you leave the house.
13. If you invite someone to sleep with you at home, you must register with your identification card (if national) or passport (if not national) with us, as it is mandatory specified by our government.
14. Please do not open the door to people you do not know.
15. At the end of your stay, please be sure to leave the keys to us and do not leave any belongings.

Eine mega schöne Unterkunft! Und ein Spitzen Frühstück für 5 Cuc/Person! Alles sehr modern. Nur der Sohn spricht Englisch, aber die Vermieter geben sich riesen Mühe und sind super super freundlich! Der Pool ist leider sehr kalt und die Unterkunft liegt sehr weiter ab von der Innenstadt, man braucht immer ein Taxi (10 Cuc bis Plaza Central). Aber wir hatten riesen Glück, dass uns der Sohn jeden Tag in die Stadt gefahren hat! Er lebt in Europa und Kuba, ist also nicht immer da! Er hat uns alles sehr sehr gut erklärt und uns wichtige Tipps gegeben! Alle waren super lieb zu uns! Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Elvira, Yordano and Eddy are very nice and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay with them. They made us feel save in this big City. Eddy took us downtown and picked us up again. We got a lot of useful hints from them, to get a long in Havanna. Elvira is an excellent Cook and the Cuba Libres from Yordano where fantastic. The room has an own Bathroom and everything got cleaned up in the morning. Pool also gets cleaned every day. Thanks for everything.

The family is really really nice and helped us with buses, transport, pickups, everything. Their son, Jordan, is a true hero and serves good cocktails for honest prices. We’re coming back to them for our last night in Havana :)

Such a lovely family! A nice place to stay at although it was a bit from both the centre and beach... the mother gave us food - the BEST pancakes!!! And helped us with a lot of stuff. So did the son and the father who also gave us a ride to the city when we needed it. Really recommend them!

We had the best time at Elvira’s casa. If you want to experience the true Cuban culture and people Elvira will walk you through, among others, salsa classes, excursions, Cuban food and nightlife, we had a deep dive into the real Cuba as you would never expect it. We thank again Elvira for letting all this happen and we look forward to seeing you soon again.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
