House Rules
HOUSE RULES
1. Check-in time: from 3 pm-9 pm only
2. Check-out time: from 10 am-12 pm or a $25/hour will be charged per room if late. This is to avoid delay for the next guests
3. Please remove your shoes upon entering the house (feel free to use socks, slippers, or indoor shoes inside)
4. No smoking cigarettes, vaping, or drugs/cannabis permitted inside the house or on the premises.
5. As a courtesy to other guests, please clean up after use of dishes, kitchen and washrooms
6. Please take the trash out when full to the garbage bins outside:
Organics -> green bin, recycling -> blue bin and trash ->grey/black bin
7. Put everything back where it belongs for the next person to use (i.e., kitchen supplies and cleaning items)
8. Quiet hours are from 10 pm – 8 am; no loud music or TV
9. If you break anything, you must replace it (i.e., dishes, cups)
10. As a safety precaution, always turn off the stove and oven after each use
11. Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the house past midnight. No overnight guests Allowed. If the number of people staying exceeds the number of guests registered, an extra $55/guest/day will apply
12. No pets allowed
13. No parties, events, or gatherings of any kind on this premise
14. All windows and doors must be closed while the furnace or the air conditioning is on
15. Guests are solely responsible for personal belongings left in or around the property. The owner shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, or criminal acts or negligence.
16. The house is not equipped with safety features for small children and the elderly. The owner does not take any responsibility in case of injury or accident
17. Long Term guests (28 days and up) are expected to resupply the items you require for the remainder of your stay (i.e., toiletries and other necessities)
18. A fee will be charged for additional cleaning service upon request

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
