Your homestay host Jade (45) and Erin (13) welcome you to Surrey. Want to get a taste of the best things to do in Surrey? I am more than happy to provide tips and advice on the best things to see and do in Surrey and surrounding area. We enjoy cooking, music activities in the surrounding area and always look forward to meeting new people.
Jade enjoys cooking, watching movies, music festivals, art, reading, learning foreign languages, socializing , board games, and theatre. She speaks English.
Erin is bilingual in French and English enjoys music and dance.
Within 300 metres walking distance from the house there is a Day Spa with Steam Room and Infra Red Sauna, Hair Salon, Coffee Shops and Supermarket. Restaurants:- The Keg, Cactus Club, Milestones, Thia Food, Damiko Sushi, Healthy Monkey and a Public House.
A Bus ride of 10 minutes away are many more restaurants and shops such as Roots, Steve Nash Gym, Banana Republic, My Shanti East Indian restaurant by the renowned Vancouver restauranteur /chef Vij.
Financial Institutes also in walking distance to exchange funds.
50 Metres from the house is a Bus Stop with transit taking you directly to Vancouver in 40 minutes!!
You will have your own bathroom to use, you will also have your own sitting room for personal use with a TV and DVD player, BBQ and garden.
Additional Info
There is no better way to learn a foreign language than to speak it in everyday situations. Your host Jade offers qualified language instruction in her native language English. One hour of instruction costs 20.00 CAD. The classes will be given by the host himself at the accommodation.
The room rate includes the following services: washing machine usage and internet access.

House Rules
Please keep our home secure and double-lock the front door when entering and leaving the house. No smoking guests thank you. No shoes in carpeted areas or hardwood floor areas.
Keep noise to a minimum after midnight please
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over just agree it with me in advance
Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
