My home is located in the NW of Edmonton. The bus is a two min. walk. It is excellent to connect to the other buses and the LRT; which both get you to all over the City. Easy access to the Universities, Downtown, West Edmonton Mall, Southgate and all other Malls. There are amenities close to the home; two shopping centers. We have many Parks, and plenty of outdoor/inside activities. I have two small dogs and a cat. We all love people and want persons to visit with us, that are respectful in our home as we are/would be to them
It takes a 1/2 hr. from the house to reach NAIT, and to reach the University Of Alberta. ( Enterprise Square).
Hobbies: I enjoy live theater, jazz/blues , actually I am eclectic with just about everything. I enjoy fine foods, eating out and cooking. What makes me special, is I love life, and laughter and people; and at the same time I enjoy me and serenity. Even though you have paid the Booking Fee; and there has been No Communication/Dialogue with me, Prior to the Arrival Date I Will NOT ACCEPT ANYONE IN MY HOME, WHO JUST APPEARS AT MY DOOR. I ACCEPT STUDENTS. The time frame for students will be discussed with the student and myself/

About the Area
I takes a 1/2 hr to 40 min to reach the University of Alberta South Campus. As well as to reach Southgate Shopping Centre. 40 min by bus to reach West Edmonton Mall. 15 min to reach downtown,. No complications at all.

House Rules
You would have your own room, shared bathroom. I expect my guests to respect my home as they would their own/or their parents home. There is a fridge downstairs, that you can access. I do not allow guests to invite strangers in my home. Arrangements can be discussed for possible dinners. Smoking permitted OUTSIDE. The Corona Virus 19 is a strong concern; the following Social Distance Guidelines will be respected.

Wouw Marlene I don't have enough words to describe what you've done to me . I'm grateful and thankful, the only thing that I know you helped me believing in in myself and always be independent. How I can forget this great moment. Unfortunately I came to your home full of uncertainties and misunderstandings but you've done the best and I won't forget ah by the way for the future guests note these three things she is serious, rigorous with a huge heart and greatness she loves her pets more than fish loves water .

Host made me feel welcome and also invited me to share her wonderful home cooked dinners. Would recommend this host to anyone as a great way to experience Edmonton and feel at home away from your own home.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
