Hello, we are a married couple from Klosterneuburg, a suburb of Vienna.
Our house is in a beautiful villa area with gardens.
Since our children are already adults, we would like to rent two rooms to students.
We have a very friendly dog. You can be in Vienna in 40 minutes.
We speak fluent German, English, Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese and a bit of Korean.
My husband and I are both academics and very sociable :)
We offer two bedrooms with a kitchen-living room and a bathroom.
The residents of the two student rooms have the kitchen and bathroom all to themselves.
You are also welcome to use our terrace and garden. We live very nicely and yet centrally in a safe and upscale residential area.
The elite university ISTA Maria Gugging is very close by.
We like to chat every now and then.
We also have some sports equipment. There are a lot of fruit trees in our garden and we are happy to share the fruit with you when the trees bear fruit. You are welcome to grill on our terrace.

About the Area
Our house is in a posh suburb of Vienna, 10 km from the central underground station of Vienna, 32 km from the airport. It is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and supermarket.
You can reach the center of Vienna by public transport in 43 minutes.
There are many gardens here, the people are nice, the area is safe and beautiful. You can reach the city center of Klosterneuburg in 9-10 minutes.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

Unfortunately, we are not available every day and sometimes travel.
We do not accommodate smokers.
With us it is not possible to smoke in the rooms. Smoking is also not allowed on the terrace.
No parties please and no pets.
Breakfast is not included in the price. From time to time we invite our guests to dinner.
In summer we are happy to give you fresh organic fruit from our garden. You are welcome to use part of the garden.
With us you can hike, walk, swim, ping pong, swim, jump on the trampoline, shoot archery, ride a bike or play badminton or have a barbecue.
The pool can be used for 1 hour per day on request and the rest of the time is reserved for the hosts.
In case of a stay longer than one month, we have to keep a deposit of 500 euros.
We would like payment of the entire rent in cash in advance.
We are warm and lively and love to spend time with our guests.
We are also happy to offer assistance with life in Austria and in emergencies.
We strive to make you feel at home with us.

I enjoyed the stay at their house. It was nice, clean and it felt welcoming. Its a calm and friendly neighbourhood too. The bed and bathroom was in a good standard to.
The family was travelling abroad, while I stayed at the home. Nevertheless they are very friendly and open-minded.
The very only downside is the description of the rooms on the site, which can be misinterpreted. (don't see this as a super negative part)
- No operating pool
- No parking (it has to be on one of the roads close to)
- No access to the garden
- Unstable internet access
- No laundry options
- No bikes for use

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
