Hi there, my name is Krist, I am a recent empty-nester living in a quiet neighbourhood with my 18m old Cavoodle & therapy dog in training (Atticus).
I work as a therapist from home in a cottage in the back yard (seperate dwelling).
The last of my children have now left home and I'm looking to offer a lovely welcoming space to someone who shares my values of having peaceful home, enjoying good food, a good laugh and respects personal boundaries.
Oh, also must be ok with a dog (anxious, gentle Atticus).
I am totally fine with vaping, alcohol consumption and hosting your own guests (on occasion with notice).
The bedroom available currently has a king single bed with brand new linen, doona & underlay. There is the option of a double futon instead, and all furnishings / decorations in the photos are optional.

About the Area
Our house is located 7 min drive from Tuggerah Westfield and 7 min from Ourimbah Uni & Tafe. It is a close walk to the lake's edge where there an abundance of wildlife, parks, and over 20km of path which leads into The Entrance and beaches. We are a few minutes walk from bus stops and 5min drive to Tuggerah train station. Our home is on a quiet street with friendly neighbours.

Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Very simple and basic guidelines based on respecting eachother's privacy in a shared space;
Clean kitchen and stack dishwasher after cooking
Keep noise to a minimum
Advise and arrange if having visitors
Other than that, this will be your home (additional things can be negotiated together) :)
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
