This is a brilliant place to stay. I was here working away from home in Edinburgh and was able to get a bus into town from just outside the house. Lorraine and Bill are very welcoming and friendly; couldn't be better hosts. The room was very comfortable with a separate bathroom, of which I had exclusive use - and which has been recently modernised. I also had use of a separate sunroom/annexe if I wanted. Breakfast is provided and also room made available in the fridge for my own supplies. I would definitely ask to stay again when next working in Edinburgh.

Ian and Belinda are very welcoming and friendly hosts. They share their house with two cats as well as up to two guests. The house is in a quiet residential area with good bus and car access to the city centre to the south or out to Beverley to the north. The house is warm and cosy (I stayed throughout December) and my room overlooked the garden to the rear and was very comfortable. I had access to a second sitting room and shared the family bathroom. Breakfast was provided on a help-yourself basis but the evening meal was either shared with Ian and Belinda or left for me if I needed to eat at a different time to them. The atmosphere is very relaxed with plenty of conversation and provision of local knowledge. I will definitely stay again.
