As a solo female traveller from New Zealand, I had an excellent stay at this casa and really enjoyed it. The room was large in a separate upstairs section with private entry, and it had a large deck area with great views of Trinidad. The room was clean, and had fans, aircon, a fridge, and the shower had hot water. The breakfast was excellent and filling. Chino and his wife were lovely and made me feel comfortable. It helped that Chino spoke English. He gave great tips for what to do. The area itself was safe. I had no problems going out by myself at night. The casa is down the road from the Viazul bus station and a few blocks from Plaza Mayor and major attractions. I hope to return again. Muchas gracias!!! Lo disfrute mucho.
