Amelia has previously stayed in 3 homestays.
Megi was a welcoming host who I was glad to meet. Her place is warm and in a great location, easy accesible by tram or a walkable distance from the main bus station. The house is loaded with many filers and books for ideas of things to do. The apartment has a nice bed, a clean bathroom and a kitchen with all the proper utensils. The wifi connection is good too. I would reccomend this place to anyone, and I myself would like to stay here again if I find myself back in Zagreb.
Nera is a great house with a warm heart and a nice family. She made room for me in her house, after the rest of her rooms were booked out and gave me advice on where to stay and fed me with her great cooking skills. The location was perfect with supermarkets close by and an easy walk to the main attractions, or cheap to go by taxi. Her husband even dropped me off at the bus station for a day trip. I enjoyed my stay here and I would reccomend.
The room is a traditional tatami room with a futon, although does not have a window it is easy to sleep comfortably as the room has air condition. Kathy is happy to provide towels and the laundry is done every day. Kathy is a good cook and she speaks French, Japanese and English so communication is easy. Her family are a very fun people and will help you improve your Japanese. They are always willing to give you advice on tourist spots. This is always useful. The location is pretty good, it’s a 15 minute walk from the station.(Although be prepared to walk up a few hills as the house is on a mountain). This is fantastic place to stay and I can recommend it wholly to anyone. I look forward to meeting Kathy and her family again!
