Ich hatte eine wirklich schöne Woche bei Chie. Die Wohnung ist im 9. Stock und ideal gelegen, um schnell mit Bus und Bahn unterwegs zu sein. Einziges Manko in dieser Hinsicht ist die durch die gute Lage bedingte Geräuschkulisse. Die lässt sich nachts durch Ohrstöpsel aber ganz gut ausblenden. Das Gästezimmer hat eine gute Klimaanlage, so dass ich es auch im der 2. heißen Septemberwoche bestens aushalten konnte. Es gab ein großes 1,40 x 2,00 m Bett im westlichen Stil, einen kleinen Schreibtisch mit Stuhl und eigenen Zugang zum Balkon. Chie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und ich durfte alles in ihrer Küche benutzen und hatte sogar ein eigenes Plätzchen für meine Sachen im Kühlschrank. Wäschewaschen war auch kein Problem.

Chie and Gigen where very busy at work, but we managed to go out for a few meals.
You’ll have full independence and free to organise your own stay in Tokyo. Room and flat is sparkling clean, and very convenient as the Gotanda line is 3mins walk and serves main lines.三月 2023
Chie and her husband are so lovely, I had a wonderful time! They were very helpful and their apartment is only 30 minutes to the centre of Tokyo by train. I had a great time!

Chie was super kind and welcoming and was mor ethan happy to recommend me places to go and help me with my japanese. Great location, you can get anywhere in less than 30 mins which is quite hard to find anywhere else. The room and apartment were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone solo travelling.

Chie and her husband are very open, warm and kind persons. I really enjoyed my stay, their recommendations and the dinner we has together gave my trip a lot of extra wow!

Staying with Chie and Gigen was beyond amazing.
The apartment is pristine and newly built, the room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The location is amazing as well, and is one of the few home stays that is so conveniently located in Tokyo proper. The area is convenient (stores and restaurants all around), and has access to many parks with rivers and bridges. For an idea of what the area is like, the anime March Comes In Like A Lion is set in this part of town.
With Kachidoki station just outside, you have very easy access to Roppongi and Shinjuku, and also Shibuya via 1 transfer. Also, Tsukiji and Toyosu are within easy walking distance as well.
Chie and Gigen were very friendly and could not have been more welcoming into their wonderful home. I’d stay again whenever I have the chance. The home, the hosts, and the neighborhood are all perfect for living in Tokyo.

Chie is lovely and her English is great. The apartment is small but perfectly designed. Comfortable bed, good shower and good air conditioning. Would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful couple and so friendly. The apartment is well located with a subway station just a block away and so much all within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return my next time in Tokyo.
