We have a 3 bedroom house in St. Mellons. We previously had a 4 bedroom in Marshfield but have downsized due to there only Being 2 of us living here as our three daughters now have their own homes and families. We have hosted French, German and Spanish teachers who bring children on educational Visits to Wales. We enjoy welcoming people into our home. We have 2 available bedrooms. 1 twin and the 2nd with single bed. No pets. No smoking in house.

About the Area
Our house is in the east side of Cardiff and only 5 miles to the city centre. We have lots of local pubs within a 10 minute walk and a local supermarkets and pharmacy. Also an Indian restaurant about 5 minutes walk.
We are about 10 minutes drive away to Cardiff City centre.

Highly recommend .What a great find . Fantastic Hosts , they made us feel so welcome . The house is in a very safe area . The house , bedroom and bathroom were spotless .We stayed for the Rugby , they kindly picked us up from the Station and knew all the back roads to miss the Rugby traffic . Even provided a fantastic sausage and Bacon Sandwich to take away as we left on an early train ,

We had a great stay with Geraldine and David, we were attending a rugby match in Cardiff and they were so helpful with advising us how to travel there and picking us up at the train station. The house was spotless and very comfy and breakfast the next morning was amazing! It was our first time using Homestay and we'd definitely use it again after a lovely stay in Cardiff.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
