**"Welcome to my peaceful and warm homestay in Cau Ke, Tra Vinh! As your host, I’m Edwin, and I speak English, French, and Chinese, so I can easily communicate with you and help you understand the rich traditions of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Khmer culture. Staying here means experiencing an authentic and unique family atmosphere—you’re not just a guest, you’re part of the family!
Whether you're working remotely or traveling with loved ones, my homestay in Cau Ke is a great choice. Although it’s a small town, you’ll have access to all the essential services you need. Plus, getting here is easy—I can arrange a direct and affordable local bus from Saigon or Can Tho straight to the homestay for a smooth and stress-free trip. If desired, I can also pick you up at the bus station and we do the ride together.
If you’re looking for an authentic experience of Vietnamese countryside life, you’re in the right place. Here, you’ll see the real Mekong Delta—vast rice fields, coconut and banana trees, and tropical fruits you may have never even heard of! This is the perfect spot to slow down and take in the beauty of rural Vietnam.
I also love showing guests around, and I offer guided scooter tours through the Mekong Delta - for an affordable extra charge. If you’re traveling with friends or family, I’ll arrange more drivers so we can all explore together. If you’re curious about local farming, I can take you to meet some of my farmer friends, where you’ll learn firsthand how fruit and rice are grown and harvested. This is a great way to truly understand what it takes to produce food in this region.
I’d love to welcome you to my homestay and show you the hidden gems of the Mekong Delta. Feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help with anything you need!"**

January 2025
It was an awesome experience to stay with Edwin and his family! You get an authentic view on the country life within the Mekong Delta and Edwin takes you on a Tour with his scooter to the Fruit Farms of his friends and answers all the questions. We ended up chatting about so many things that it felt like talking to a friend! He also helped me with the bus ride from HCMC but the ride can be a bit tiring, so I would recommend to stay not just two nights..
Overall a unique experience!October 2024
Host reply

We stayed at Edwin place for 2 days and everything went really well, he is a great host and you will experience the real Vietnamese life! We asked him to show as around and that's exactly what he did: with a couple of scooters we went through towns, villages, markets, rice fields, farms, rivers and pagodas stopping by every time we wanted and answering every question we got. Book the room and you won't regret the choice of visiting a rural place with almost no tourists and local guide (himself) tailoring the tour that most fits you.
Thank you Mister Edwin!Host reply

It was an amazing experience!
5 stars I think are less than I want to give him! A real deep immersion in a vietnamite countryside family!House is perfect to stay in touch with the people live in a no tourist zone. Room is big enough (bed is a bit hard for me but I slept well enough) and the house is 100% clean and safety. Please keep in mind it’s not an hotel and you don’t have all the services you want but Edwin and his family can reach to help you to feel comfortable and relaxed!
Tour on Mekong river was extremely interested. I kept a local boat (not for tourist) and I visited some islands and gardens of Edwin’s family (please…try his coconut and any kinds of fruits he share with you because you never find the same taste!)
Edwin is a brilliant tour guide.
He speaks fluently English and he knows French. He also knows everyone and everything in town and he shares with you the history of his town!At least he gave me a real Vietnamite food experience! Please relax yourself and trust in his knowledge!
No regrets! And again…an experience that I’ll keep in my heart forever!
