My wife and I are both retired teachers in their mid-50s. We traveled extensively "earlier in life", and after a great career teaching science and elementary school for Tom, and ESL and Adult Ed for Deena, we are now looking forward to finding new places to explore, and returning to visit old friends in places we've previously lived. We enjoy meeting and chatting with people and look forward to welcoming you to our home and area.
The house dates from 1933 but was completely refurbished in 2008. Filled with sunlight, colors, and art from our travels through Southeast Asia and Central America, it is a relaxing spot to unwind. There are four bedrooms which can sleep up to 15 people. We have an outdoor fire pit in case you would like to hang out by a campfire. We are within a ten minute drive of a half-dozen beaches . And all this without the hassles of Cape bridge traffic!

About the Area
Our house is located in central Wareham, right in the middle of cranberry country and only minutes from several beaches, with most of the Cape, Providence, and Boston within about an hour's drive. We are 4 minutes off the 195/495 highway interchange so easy access for drivers. Located on a quiet back street yet easily walkable to a supermarket, library, and downtown stores. Many people staying in a small house. Overpriced, and very loud most nights.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
