I am single and live alone in a two bedroom apartment. I am a filmmaker and teach cinema studies here at several colleges.
The apartment is quite large. One room is used for my film studio and the bedroom is off the studio. These rooms have a door for privacy. The apartment is in the center of the night life in San Francisco. Located in the heart of the Barbary Coast. City Lights bookstore is around the corner along with numerous restaurants and bars. You would have access to the kitchen, television in the living room, internet and your bedroom will be private.
Beautiful and stunning viewsof Financial District and Chinatown from my large picture windows in the living room and back porch. Windows are double paned and tinted.
The apartment is located in the Telegraph Hill/North Beach area rich with artists, coffee shops, restaurants, unique bars, historic Vesuvio's Cafe, the Cafe Trieste; Tosca's and many others. It up the street from Cafe Zoetrope owned by Francis For Coppola. Some days you can see at the Cafe enjoying coffee and the neighborhood. This is quite a unique and lively part of San Francisco.
The apartment is perfect for first time visitors. It is also ideal for those returning to San Francisco because of location and ease of transportation.
There is very limited street parking. However there is a city owned garage nearby with reasonable daily rates.

About the Area
The apartment is a five minute walk to the Bay, San Francisco's Ferry Building, Financial District, the Cable Car line and the Cable Car Museum. It is a 15 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and loading dock to travel to Alcatraz as well as Ghiradelli Square. Within a one minute walk there are numerous restaurants, classic bars, City Lights Bookstore. Chinatown is also a two minute walk. The area is composed of many artists and there are several public and private galleries in the neighborhood. North Beach is very friendly to visitors. Two Catholic churches are within a couple minutes walk. The neighbor has a history that dates back to the gold rush and there are several parks nearby.

I'm really satisfied with my stay. Dominic is a very nice person with a great personality. He was always available to answer my questions and to help me whenever I needed. The house is well located and very cosy, and the view from the roof is amazing. I would definitely repeat this experience!

Dominic is a wonderful host. He helped me a lot during my first visit to the USA. We had some great conversation. The flat is really nice, and very well located, it is close to the best parts of SF. I would love to come back once.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
