My fiance and I have been here together for about 2 years. She has never lived with anyone other than family and friends previously. But, my family has hosted exchange students for the past 10 years. We very familiar with different cultures and would love to start hosting as well. Our home is very large and is more than adequate for me, my fiance, and our 2 little dogs. The extra bathroom is a private for guest use in our home. We don't always cook meals at home so we can not guarantee a prepared meal every night. However, we are looking forward to being able to cook more often since we will have more people in the home. We can guarantee you breakfast and lunch supplies will be available every day. If we are cooking breakfast/lunch/dinner, we would hope that you would join us. We are a very laid back family. The backyard is very large and has a patio with a fireplace/fire pit with plenty of seating. There is a BBQ with 2 large counters on each side of it. Overall, we can't wait to have guests and hope they enjoy our home as much as we do. We conserve water in the summer time so the grass in our backyard dies out. But, in the winter it grows back and looks a lot nicer than in the current photo. We are new to Homestay.com so please message me and I will give a very good promotional price for the first few bookings in our home.
I'm also a personal driver so I can offer a very low discounted price if you need to get around the city. *cheaper than Uber and Lyft*

About the Area
Our home is 7 minutes away from San Diego State University. The shopping center and bus stop is a 5 minute walk from our home. We are 15 min from Downtown/Balboa Park and The San Diego Zoo. Sea World and Pacific Beach are only 20 minutes away. Our home's location is one of the best in the areas because we are so close to everything. But, we also don't live in a very congested area. We can guarantee that you will feel very comfortable here.

House Rules
Please make sure the house is secure and the door is locked when entering and leaving the house. We have an alarm system so we will give you the code upon arriving.
We do have dogs so please make sure you do not leave the front door open.
Please keep noise to a minimum after 11:00 pm.
Please do not invite strangers into our home; if you would like to invite a friend over please just ask me in advance.

Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 50% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% service fee is paid to Homestay.com)
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.”

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
