My owner occupied multi family historic property, which has a rental unit on the second and third floors currently with students tenants is in the heart of Boston. This one bedroom apartment with a bathroom on the first floor is an unshared space for $66.66 each night. The city of Boston is our backyard full of many gems. My interests are education, lectures, workshops, cooking, and movies. I speak Spanish and Japanese.

About the Area

My property is located on the south of the The Museum of Fine Arts, South End, Northeastern University, Boston Commons, and Boston City Hospital in a historically designated neighborhood. It is 4.5 km (2.8 mi) from Downtown Boston and only a 15 minute drive to the airport and 12 minutes to the beach.
There are a number of buses taking many routes only 2 blocks from the property and 8 minutes to the Roxbury Crossing MBTA Orange Line.

House Rules

Paying occupants ONLY.

Follow all federal and state laws and local ordinances while on the Premises. In the future, the Host may be required to create new rules and regulations reasonably related to this stay. They may include rules affecting the safety of the Guest and others in the building containing the Premises, rules for the orderliness and cleanliness of these facilities, and rules for the comfort and convenience of other Resident(s).

Maintain and dispose of their own trash and the occupying space must be kept clean otherwise will incur a regular cleaning fee. Place trash in sealed plastic bags, use bins provided for trash and recycling, keep bins in locations designated, and move bins to the curb in time for pick-up according to the schedule provided by the City of Boston and/or Host and return them to the cedar shed next to the stairs thereafter.

Ensure that there is no unreasonable noise or disturbances, loud parties, any illegal drugs or other illegal activity on the premises, or any other activity that interferes with the quiet enjoyment of the premises by Guest or neighbors, interferes with the management of the property, or threaten the Host.

Pay for damage beyond normal wear and tear to apartment, building, or grounds caused by guest's visitors within 15 days of being submitted a bill for the same. The Resident(s) is responsible for all activities of guests or family members upon or about the Premises.

Reimburse the Host for any fine or fee paid by the Host as a result of any Guest’s action or inaction to comply with any law or ordinance.

Treat neighbors and their visitors respectfully and resolve conflicts courteously.

Take care not to get locked out. If locked out, Guest will first call the Host. If the Host cannot help promptly, Guest will pay for a licensed and bonded locksmith, and pay for the cost of keys and repairing any

When vacating, remove all personal property (any furnishing present upon move in MUST remain.), return the unit in a clean and sanitary condition as was presented initially, and turn in all keys to the Host. Any personal property left behind after return of keys and/or possession to the Host in violation of this clause will be disposed of at the discretion of the Host. You are not to use the keys for entry after the official move out date, because it will be considered trespassing.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
