About the Area
Our home is located just west of Chicago. Oak Park is a quiet and safe suburb. It is family oriented also beautiful. There are three train lines that are walking distance from my home: Metra, Blue and Green lines. It is approximately 20 minutes to downtown Chicago.

Yolanda is absolutely wonderful! She was very respectful of my space and privacy, which I really appreciated, though the conversations we'd have when crossing paths in shared spaces were always friendly and kind. The room itself is cozy, but I found there was still enough room to store my things for a few months stay. Despite being conveniently located so close to Oak Park's downtown area, there was very little street noise, and the large window offers some nice natural lighting and the option for fresh air. In regards to common areas -- I felt super comfortable using the kitchen, and Yolanda really made me feel welcome in her home and neighborhood. My only complaint is that another person ended up moving into the extra bedroom across the hall, so the bathroom I'd anticipated having to myself was then shared with another person, which was a little frustrating at times. Beyond that, I truly enjoyed my stay at Yolanda's and am very grateful to have found such a great place and host :) 10/10!

Yolanda was very friendly and accommodating. Her home is inviting and the room was just as pictured. Also, dogs were super loving and chill. Thanks for a great stay!!!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
