I am a 49 year old man. I live with my girlfriend. I have a small maltese puppie. I have a 3 story home with very big rooms. I have a basketball court in the backyard. My home is protected with security cameras running 24 hours a day. I speak english and spanish fluently. I currently have 1 studio / hotel room style room for rent. My home is located minutes away from Rutgers, NJIT, Essex County College, and the Newark Downtown Shopping district. NJ PAC is also a few minutes away by car. My home is located 1/2 block from where you can catch the #34 Bus straight to downtown Newark, and Penn Station Newark. There also is a LightRail service 3 blocks from my home that also takes you to or near the Newark downtown area and Newark Penn Station. My city also has easy access to Uber and Lyft car services which are here within minutes at your service. New York city is a bus and a train ride away.

About the Area
My house is located near the center of the city. You have buses that pass right outside at the corner. The light rail train is 3 1/2 blocks away and the Train station is only five minutes away by car.

House Rules
i dont mind if they smoke, as long as they go outside to the front . No overnight guest. No drugs or wild parties. Main rule is respect the home . No loud music. This is a small studio style apartment on second floor. You will have your own space.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
