My daughter and I live in a two-bedroom apartment located in Pilsen on the west side of Chicago. My daughter is a freshman in college so she only comes home a few times a year and in the summer. My apartment has a large spacious kitchen, a laundry room, and a spacious living room to relax while watching television or to study. I enjoy cooking so you will have a chance to enjoy some foods from my culture.
We reside in an area that is located just blocks from various places to eat. There is a local library in the area for your use. The University of Illinois at Chicago and St. Ignatius College Prep are located just a few blocks away from me. If you enjoy bike-riding, there are bike rentals available two blocks away on Taylor street. I have been living in the same area for the past four years because it is a culturally diverse neighborhood and the people are very friendly. Eventually, I plan to buy a house or a condo and remain in my same neighborhood for years to come.

About the Area
My apartment is located in the Pilsen neighborhood on the west side of Chicago. I live just minutes away from downtown Chicago where many people like to go shopping and tourists like to take pictures of the city. The Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Symphony Hall is about twenty minutes away from my home for people who are interested in art and musical concerts. There is a lot to do here in Chicago and I live right near the train and busses that will take you to most places in the city (i.e., zoo, field museum, planetarium and shed aquarium).

House Rules
Please help me keep my apartment safe by locking all doors upon leaving and entering. You are more than welcome to use the kitchen and laundry room as long as you keep it nice and tidy. Please do not invite strangers into my place. If you are going to have friends come over, I ask that you give me at least a twenty-four hour notice. Please do not give your friends permission to sleep over. If you need to adjust any hear or air conditioning settings, I will be glad to show you what to do. You are welcome in my home and I want your stay to be very enjoyable.

Sannette was a great host. Staying in her apartment was a very relaxed and easy going. It is well located for downtown and UIC. Highly recommended.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
