I live in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Bucktown. The neighborhood is safe and lively, with many cafés, restaurants, live music venues, and bars within walking distance. It is also very accessible by public transportation or car.
The available room is small but has a queen sized bed that comfortably sleeps two. The living room has cable tv and wifi. There is a kitchen and bar area, as well as an outside deck with a gas grill. A parking space and laundry facilities are available.
I am easy going and have hosted many travelers. I am a passionate traveler myself. I also enjoy music, sports, and food. I am learning to cook and trying to learn Spanish.

About the Area
My apartment is located in the trendy Bucktown area, close to Wicker Park. There are lots of restaurants, cafés, and bars within a 15 minute walk.
The transportation in the area is excellent. The CTA blue line can take you downtown in 15 minutes or to OHare airport in 40 minutes. The Metra train is also close, as well as several convenient bus routes.
The highway is close and I have a parking space available. Chicago has a bike sharing program called DivvyBikes with many bikes for rent in the area.
I am a Chicago native and have maps, guidebooks, and other information about the city.

When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
