My family home is on the door step of the University of Southampton, Highfield campus. Ideal for those visiting the university on short courses or work or during graduation ceremonies. Transport to and from the city is very convenient using the Unilink service at the HIghfield Interchange. There is an excellent bus link to the airport and train station. I have two rooms, one is my front living room which has a very comfortable sofa bed. The room has a television and a sofa. It's a good room to relax in! There is a shared shower room adjacent to the room. The second room is upstairs and there is a shared family bathroom. We are a non smoking house and I have two cats. We look forward to introducing you to the area and if you are interested in the history of Southampton we will happily take you around at the weekend.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north side of the city in a leafy, safe and quiet suburb. We are 3 km from the city centre and only 15 minutes drive from Southampton airport and train station, or only a few stops by the Unilink bus service. The bus stops are only 2 minutes walk from the house and there are lots of bus service options.

It was lovely staying with laila and her family. Laila was kind and helpful in providing information. Her home was very spacious and clean with easy access to Southampton and surrounding towns. I would definitely love to visit again when in the area.

I had an amazing stay with Laila and her family. All of them were always there to help me if I had a question, they were really welcoming. I felt like if I was still at home eventhough I was staying with people I had just met. It was a rewarding experience and I'm not going to forget these days soon. So, once again, thanks to Laila and her family for these days!

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
