I live in a semi detached house in Droylsden area of Manchester with my partner in a quiet street with lovely neighbours. We are fun to be with and love to meet people that's why we are here on this site. Our home is about 15 minutes drive to Manchester City centre (I can give you a lift any where you want to go at very affordable and competitive rate including to and from the airport) or by bus (30mins) or tram (23mins).
We have a white finished kitchen always tidy and you are welcome to use at any time during your stay. Also available to relax in is our large garden.
Wifi available with strong signals everywhere in the house powered by two routers and you are Welcome to use the workstation equipped with basic office gadgets.
Your stay in Manchester could not be more enjoyable and comfortable.
We welcome tourists, holiday makers, students, name it.

Our house is located on the east side of the City local to the Ethiad stadium in a quiet and safe suburb. We are 3.5miles from the city centre and 25mins drive from the Airport. The bus stop is less than 2 minutes walk from the house and lots of bus options using the stop. Tram station also less than 2 minutes walk away.

I was first to contact him via and he told all I needed to do was to get the key from the keysafe. I did that. He called again, pretending to ask about my wellbeing but it was really to do him a favour. Was awoken by his brother banging on the door demanding payment in cash. He has only mentioned payment once with a text and I quote "give £66 to my brother". Who at that point I hadn't met and didn't know the existence of. This was all within the first hours of my stay with him. I never actually met the man. The kettle disappeared on my last day there so no hot drinks for me I guess. The kitchen bin was being kept closed via the weight of a roll of carpet with very absorbent pile.

Really enjoyed this homestay. Sam's partner welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. She even made sure the heating was on so that our two rooms were even more comfy and cosy. TVs were provided in our rooms so my friends and I enjoyed drinking the tea we were provided with together while lounging on the beds together in front of the TV. A really nice relaxed homestay and it felt like we had the house largely to ourselves. We were even allowed to use the kitchen in the morning to make ourselves a big cooked breakfast which ate on the lawn in the sun at the back of the house. Would recommend this homestay and will definitely be going back when I am in Manchester. About 5.6miles /25 minutes from city centre by car. Tram stop is a few minutes down the road but we didn't need to use it.

I would like to say Sam place was very good Sam and his wife were sociable people Sam was very helpful if you ask him where to go in Manchester he was very helpful I would definitely recommend it to my friends if they were visiting Manchester I shall return to their again when I visit Manchester again 10- out of 10 Kind regards Bernard Small

Like my writers below, a lovely, warm welcome. Sam picked me up from airport (ask for the price) and my room and and were clean and tidy. I walked a lot, so Emirated could be reached by foot but after walking 170 metres you could also pick up tram or bus, both well frequented. Take a Dayrider ticket! Old Rrafford is reachable in 50 mins so everthing could be reached quick and cheap. Sam is a lovely guy with music in his heart, always singing :-)

I thank Sam for looking after me. I arrived in the afternoon and the place was ready for me. The kitchen, bathroom/toilet was clean and there was no noise in the house even though there was more than one guest at the time. The WiFi was working well and I can recommend the place for someone visiting manchester for some time. I used public transport very good with the tram and bus about 100m from the house and very frequent.

When do I pay?

When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
