Hello,
I live alone in a small house just off the Grand Union canal, only a 10 min walk to Portobello Road and moments from the very trendy Golborne Road. There is a swimming pool and gym just round the corner. There are 2 double bedrooms (1 mine, 1 yours) and 2 shower rooms, a sitting room, kitchen and small garden.
I work designing and making furniture but have lived abroad in Croatia and Italy in the past teaching English. I love to travel but don’t enough, so having people come to stay is a great way for me to see and learn stories from far off lands and also to share my knowledge of London.

About the Area
My house is located in a quiet street in central London (zone 2) in borough of Westminster, just north of Portobello Road (10 min) where there are lots of bars and restaurants and the market to see. The closest tube is Westbourne Park - (10 min walk down the canal) - Circle (yellow) and Hammersmith and City line (Pink) , Queens Park tube is 12 min walt to the north and is on the Bakerloo line (Brown) and Kensal Rise is a15 min walk to the North East where there is the overland train that can take you East or West. Lots of busses go passed on the Harrow Road going to - Notting Hill - Kensington or Central London to Baker Street or Euston. - THERE IS LOADS OF GOOD TRANSPORT AND LOTS TO DO IN THE AREA... Cinemas - Bars - Westfield shopping centre - Restaurants of all cuisines…

I have had a very lovely stay in a tidy and very modern furnished house, central to public transportations, but also quite neighborhood. I can really recommend the accommodation and would come back at any time, Thanks Sarah
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
