Hi,
We live in Putney located by the river in leafy South West London, Putney faces Fulham across the Thames. It's in the borough of Wandsworth, just inside Zone 2. Characterized by handsome architecture, plenty of greenery, Putney is ideal for those who like a little peace and quiet.
Young professionals and those looking to raise a family make up the majority of the people in Putney, and the relative wealth of the area makes it a quiet, safe place to live.
Putney is well served for pubs and bars with most of the them concentrated north of the station towards the river.
There are also 2 lodgers living in the flat for quite a long time. They're both polite and easygoing professionals who make of their discretion a distinct way of living.
We are all professionals working from Monday to Friday.
The bedroom that we offer is a good sized double room with desk and chair, two wardrobes and a shared-bathroom.
We have a large open kitchen area with balcony, sofas and TV. The kitchen provides everything that an experienced cooker would wish to have in their house, and I love cooking cakes during the weekend for everybody in our flat. We will accept people over 30 years old.
Our house environment is very relaxed, quiet and friendly reflecting the spirit of a lovely and leafy Putney Heath.
Minimum stay 3 months.

South West London in general is characterised by its greenness, and Putney is no exception. Putney Heath is pleasant, with woodland, open spaces. Richmond Park to the south west claims to be the Biggest Urban Park in Europe at 2500 acres. It features a golf course, horse riding, several beautiful old buildings and over six hundred deer roaming around as well. Not as large, but still a very nice slab of greenery, is Wimbledon Common to the south which is just 5 minute walk from our apartment. Fans of retro TV may recall it as the home of the Wombles in the cult 70's kids show.Most of them are now retired and still live locally.

The house is Located less than an hour from Central London. It's 3 minutes away from Bus Route 85 24h, 170, 493 and 15 mins to East Putney Tube St. / Putney Bridge Tube St. and Putney St. Overground. A night bus 14 runs day and night (24h) from Putney heath to Piccadilly Circus every 5 minutes.

I had great days in London.Audrey Rose was very welcoming,friendly and helpful. My room was nice and quiet and the bathroom I shared was clean.The area(Putney) is a nice and safe residential area.It is very good connected with Bus Nr 85 to Putney station and from there by train in 16 min to Waterloo-Station.Comming from Heathrow take the Piccadilly-Line to Earls-Court change into District line direction Wimbledon. Get out at Putney bridge. At the exit you will find the stop for Bus 85. Get out at Dover Park drive stop. Its 3min walk from there. Even at night the connections are working very well.AT around 23h it took me 30min from Leister square to the flat. I always felt save, even at night time. I highly recommend Audrey Rose`s Home stay.Hope to be able to come back soon. :)
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
