We live in a lovely Victorian terrace with lots of original features in Aigburth, (officially a 'great place to live: https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/aigburth-among-best-places-live-16115852.!) We are a stone's throw from the restaurants of Lark Lane and are just over the road from Sefton Park. On top of that, we are on the #82 bus route, which takes 10-15 minutes to Liverpool city centre, which has.... everything! History, architecture, galleries and museums, theatre, great nightlife and football.
Guests will have an attic room with a double bed, and their own bathroom. Come and go as you please. We can provide a light breakfast and chat. Pete is a geography professor at Liverpool university, while Bev is a social researcher. We have two kids, Polly (13) and Gabriel (11), interested in piano/choir and scouts, respectively. We love to meet new people and regularly host foreign students. Bev can also speak intermediate French and various family members are trying to learn Spanish, German and Polish.

We welcome families, couples or single females, but no pets, I'm afraid, because of allergies. (We do have a couple of outdoor guinea pigs). There is no off-street parking, but it's usually not a problem to find somewhere to park. You are welcome to borrow our bikes if we aren't on them!
Smoking Rules
Your host is a non-smoker.
Smoking is not allowed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
