This flat is bright, central and historic! I am of mixed culture and love the culinary arts, music, different cultures, languages, travel and people in general. I find sharing stories makes life interesting and I have plenty to share as well as being a good listener. I find it easy to connect with people of all ages. I am lucky to be caring for my Cousin's flat who is also open to welcoming others. Our flat is colorful and artistic, but not fancy. It's cosy and historic and is right in the city centre. While you get your own key during your stay, your entry through the main security door must be coordinated with us as it is a strict building policy. Respectful, flexible people are welcome and I assure you we will make your stay as comfortable as possible. In return i am peaceful, respectful and excited about sharing this beautiful city. Only stays of 5 days or more accepted.

About the Area
The flat is right off the Royal Mile in the City Centre. It is close to all major attractions and is a secured entry due to its location on a busy street. All shopping, sightseeing, etc is all within walking distance. Its also very close to the nature which I love. Arthur's seat and beautiful Hollyrood park is just around the corner. It is also just 2 min. from the trainstation and the airport tram stops just 2 blocks away.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Most important is to make sure entry door is securely closed when exiting on the street to coordinate entry back through the security door daily with us hosts as it is a beautiful building right on the street of Old Town so security of the building is taken seriously.
Inside, we have shoes off, so bring your slippers or you can borrow some. Please just use respect and clean up after yourself. Our house is your house, you are welcome to use livingroom, kitchen, stereo, books-we want you to feel at home just please be mindful. We can agree on a time for breakfast together, but feel free to make coffee or tea or any food you have bought at anytime. If you break it, you replace it.
Any other particulars I will explain when you get here. Room has a double loftbed and a single bed so could be good for small family or 3 friends. Sorry, building doesn't allow pets.
Smoking is allowed outside of the building-not in hallways or in the building. No drugs please.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
