Family home in Chester, 1 mile from the City centre in a nice residential area. We can offer a twin room downstairs with shared bathroom, a single room and an ensuite single room upstairs. We are an easy going and friendly couple.

About the Area
Our house is located 3 kilometres from the city centre of Chester. It is an outstanding tourist city with many beautiful attractions. Nearby we have Chester Zoo and Chester Racecourse and we are the gateway to North Wales. The River Dee flows from the Dee estuary through to North Wales and we have frequent boat trips up river or boat hire facilities. Nearby Chester University is only a short walk away.
Chester is a walled city built by the Romans with an amphitheatre, a museum, a Cathedral and two tier shopping experience known as the Rows.

House Rules
We don't have 'rules' as such. We simply ask our guests to be respectful and considerate of other guests and ourselves as your hosts. You will find us very helpful and welcoming and with grandchildren of our own we are child friendly!

Kevin and Elma were two fantastic hosts, always kind and helpful. I will miss the walks with Elma in the city center and the movie nights with Kevin. Hope to see you again soon!

Kevin and his wife are some of the nicest people I have ever come across. They are welcoming, open minded and caring. My well-being was very important to them and they help me whenever I needed help. Both have a nice humour and are always up for a conversation. Their house is tidy and well equipped. I didn’t have any problems and enjoyed my stay very much. Therefore, I can recommend this host to everyone looking for a good place to stay and nice people to meet.

Mi estadía en la casa de Kevin fue excelente, Kevin y su esposa es una persona muy amable y servicial muy atento a las necesidades de sus huéspedes, un lugar muy tranquilo y seguro fácil para ir caminando hasta el centro. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y me encantaría regresar. La habitación fue cómoda y limpia con acceso a cocina y lavadora.

I created good memories when I stayed there. Host Kevin is a good man and always help me. Elma cooks really nicely and I enjoy watching Korean series with her. It makes me feel like home.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
