I live in the beautiful and amazing city of Bristol. We are situated close to a major shopping centre, where there are many restaurants and a vue cinema. I have a daughter called Roxanna who is 8 years old.
Our home is clean. It has a kitchen diner,a large living area and a large garden. We have a twin and single room for students.
I have worked as a qualified social worker for over 12 years and i am CRB checked. I have just completed my post qualifying award (degree in social work and child care).
We welcome guests from all over the world and hope to meet you soon.

About the Area
Our home is about 7 miles outside of Bristol city centre. It is a twenty minute car drive. We are close to colleges and universities. We 5 minutes away from bus stops.

Please treat our home with respect. Light cooking only please, You are welcome to use the kitchen where there is a microwave, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle for your use. For stays of 1 week or more I will do 1 load of washing which is chargeable.

I had a great time with my 2 children. We were very well integrated into his family and were able to quickly discover life in Bristol. We have been able to discover Bristol and its region in 15 days with the advice of Julie and her daughter. A SPAR store and 3 restaurants (take away) are nearby and a post office (very useful). It seems to me essential to have a car with GPS to enjoy fully and easily the city and its region. Thank you again for this stay.

We had a confortable stay in the house. We also shared a few days with Julie 's family at home. The adress was not easy to find for our arrival (if you are not connected...) But there are many buses from the area to many interesting places in Bristol . As a first experience in UK, we are rather satisfied and already think to live new "homestay trips".

I can only say good things about Julie and her family. The room was warm, comfortable and quiet, and I was made to feel very welcome. If I am ever staying in Bristol again I would not hesitate to contact Julie, and I would be disappointed if I had to stay somewhere else !

Our stay with Julie went well. She is a caring host, very helpful. Clean house with spacious twin room. On street parking can be difficult but possible.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
